Urban Umbrella is the designer, patent holder, and fabricator of the only alternative to traditional sidewalk scaffolding approved by the New York City Department of Buildings. In 2009, the company beat out over 250+ contestants to win an international city-organized design competition aimed at creating a safer, more attractive, pedestrian-conscious alternative to traditional sidewalk scaffolding. In addition to sidewalk scaffolding and overhead protection, the company also provides event staging systems, custom façade netting, and more. Urban Umbrella is live in eighteen cities across the United States and Canada.

The Third Rail is the oldest and largest officially recognized supporters' group of the New York City Football Club (NYCFC), a franchise within Major League Soccer (MLS). It is a non-profit membership organization legally independent from but ostensibly attached to the team, often working alongside its Front Office. Besides rallying behind NYCFC on game days and beyond, The Third Rail coordinates events for its 5,000+ members, conducts community service and outreach, and organizes fundraisers to help forge, broaden, and diversify the incredible world that is New York City soccer. The Third Rail leadership consists of an eight-person elected board. Board members and staff all volunteer their time and are unpaid.

Mapping Historical New York
Worked to collect, refine, and build digital spatial assets for the Columbia University Center for Spatial Research's Mapping Historical New York project; Utilized GIS to digitize historical street and address ranges, reconcile information between written and cartographic sources, and convert historical coastlines into usable geometry; Helped the project team develop methods to work with thorny historic datasets and establish workflows that other researchers and students could use in the future.
